Craig Perry is a photographer residing in Norwalk, CT for the past 15 years after having grown up in New England (near Boston, MA). In addition to many other world travels, a European assignment afforded him the opportunity to develop further appreciation of line and form. His passion for photography has continued to grow as he experiences all the beauty that planet earth offers.
With an interest launched by a Kodak Instamatic camera, Craig moved on to taking Polaroids and the electronic metering of his Minolta SR-102 camera just continued to fire the passion. As a teenager, he had a dark room to process his own film and eventually printed his own slides using Cibachrome. Craig embraces the digital world and all it offers the art form.
As an artist, Craig's photographic style captures a variety of individuals, families, wildlife, and nature and architecture in the moment that is a symphony of nature and skill; harnessing light, color, form and texture.
While not a classically trained photographer, he has been inspired by working side-by-side with various National Geographic and Canon Explorer of Light Photographers. He has further honed his skills by completing college classes on lighting, composition, and other photographic techniques. His work has been a source of inspiration for use in other mediums, including ceramic tile and oil on canvas. He is a member of several photography associations.
